    The United States international was dismissed midway through the first-half of a meeting with the North Carolina Courage following a challenge on Denise O’Sullivan. Rodman’s tackle, which saw her tread on her opponent’s ankle when attempting to win the ball, led to a red card being flashed in her direction following a VAR review.

    The USWNT star was initially booked for her reckless challenge from behind, but that decision was upgraded to a red after the match referee was advised to take another look at the incident on a pitch-side monitor.
