Celtic have been drawn FC Astana in the playoff round of the Champions League, which means that Brendan Rodgers and his men will spend plenty of time travelling.
The Scottish champions will clock up 8,000 miles back and forth when they head to Kazakhstan for the second leg, which is due to take place on either August 22 or 23.
Celtic will aim to have a decent advantage from the home fixture, which will be staged at Parkhead on August 14 or 15.
Travelling such a distance is never ideal for clubs, particularly when they have domestic commitments to contend with.
On this occasion, the Scottish club will face Kilmarnock away in between the home and away legs of the European tie.
Celtic managed to get through the playoff rounds last season and make it into the group stage, but their campaign ended there.
